| Not an airfield, however, a small immaculately kept section of the cemetery at Illogan, Cornwall is the final resting place for airmen that were killed in action whilst serving at nearby RAF Portreath and RAF Perranporth during World War Two. As a passing local person I spoke with put it, "if it wasn't for the likes of those buried at Illogan Cemetery we would not be here today" |
