Control Tower
Control Tower

Photos of former RAF airfield at Davidstow Moor, Cornwall. The airfield is still in use by micorlights and the occasional light aircraft, however, a public highway runs right through the site and the runways are generally in poor condition. The control tower has over the years been exposed to the ravages of the weather and vandalism and all things considered is in good structural condition. The three T2 Hangars have long since been removed, although several dispersed communal sites remain intact. A locally published book about RAF Davidstow Moor is available and can be purchased from the newsagents in nearby Camelford. The photos were taken 11th August 2003, 23rd January 2005 and 13th June 2008.
