This building at Portkerris Point was until very recently the dive school for RNAS Culdrose. The post war building having been originally designed and built for the high-speed filming of torpedos dropped from Swordfish aircraft. There is a much smaller observation building at Nare Point, which was the sister site used for the same purpose
